- I am a 6th grade social studies teacher. I grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I have also lived in Iowa, Hawaii, Tennessee, and Illinois. Student success is my passion. I have a B.S. from Univ of Iowa and MEd and EdS from Southern IL University at Edwardsville. I have been a finalist for IL Teacher of the Year and a Fulbright Scholar in Russia. We haven't been able to post. I am hoping the comments we left today go through. Blake and I just went through every blog and looked at all your wonderful pictures. Truly a trip of a lifetime.... would LOVE to take a "Magic School Bus" tour myself. Yes, Lorna, this really is a trip of a lifetime. I'm afraid to use up too much space--but I have over 600 photos! And, I still have a week to go!!
